"When I was born, I had a port wine stain that covered the left side of my face, neck and ear. Children were heartless, they called me every name in the book with the most common name being "scarface". I had zero self esteem until the Summer before my freshman year. I was walking through JCPenney and one of the sales reps stopped my mom and asked if she could apply Dermablend to me. When she was done putting it on and I looked at myself in the mirror, it was the first time that I truly looked at myself as a normal person. "I spent most of my early life in the sun. These were the days when we thought skin protection involved baby oil with some iodine added. I am now showing the toll of the sun primarily on my arms. "I searched desperately for a concealer to cover up my dark under-eye circles and red/ blotchy cheeks. As soon as I tried Dermablend I was hooked.
