How do I cover up my vitiligo?
While many consider vitiligo patterns to be unique and beautiful, some prefer to cover it. If you choose to cover these areas, match your foundation shade to your skin tone of preference. If you've had any UV exposure, you may want to shade match to an area of skin that has not been exposed. Dermablend's full coverage, Cover Creme Foundation was created by a dermatologist to cover skin conditions such as vitiligo. Because it contains such high-performance pigments, you will want to warm up the foundation in your palm before applying it to your skin using a tapping or dabbing motion with your fingers. Start with one layer and then build to your desired coverage. To ensure your foundation doesn't smudge or transfer, be sure to set with our Original Loose Setting Powder, which locks in your foundation for up to 16 hours.
